Since our product lines "Research" and "Document Management & Distribution" have been especially developed for our demanding clients in the investment research area, we have become one of the leading product providers in this niche within a very short period of time. The functionalities of both product lines make up the Content Software Research Workflow. This workflow provides all functionalities out of one hand- from basic data and figure management over the automated generation of research products to the supply of all clients. Thus, our product package is the most consistent software solution for “sell-side“, “buy-side“ and economic research that can be found on the market at present. Already now, software is a very important component in the field of investment research. People here mainly work with single-terminal solutions (e.g. MS Office) without a central data source (repository). In most cases, fundamental information is managed in MS Excel, and research studies (products) are being almost exclusively generated on the basis of MS Word. In several research units the generation is supported by individually programmed Visual Basic macros. Nevertheless, the automation level when generating research studies is extraordinarily low in spite of considerable financial investment into the programming of macros, interfaces and individual software.
